frozen_in_kinship
EN A few kinship terms also carry the frozen nominalizer: áruguti 'grandfather' (analysable as 'one who is the progenitor'); amarieiduti 'bridegroom' / amarieidutu 'bride', transparently from amarieida 'marry'. The pattern is sparser in Garifuna than in its CNA sisters but reflects the same proto mechanism.
